The Epic saving event continues

I found out today the tuna deal at Albies goes through the 12th of July for sure. If, and it is a big IF, they can get some more from the warehouse, we should have no problem stocking up for the next year at least!
Also, the Taco Bell taco shells with the 50 cent peelies mentioned in the previous post are out there. They come in every few days so keep checking back if the shelves are empty. They are free when you buy 10 with peelies. This will also go until mid to late July.

Today, Hope found a catalina coupon for a free 6 oz. Dreyers ice cream so I will call tomorrow to see what triggered it, maybe I can find a way to get some more!!! She enjoyed her mint chocolate chip treat!

Also, I got 4 chinet products for $1 yesterday. I bought 2 pkgs of 36 lunch plates and 2 pkgs of 10 Hot Insulated Cups with lids both products were on sale for 2.50 used B1G1 * 2 and 1/1 *2 and doubler *2 = 10.00-5.00-2.00-2.00=1.00 plus tax of .74. Cheap, and I mean CHEAP Tuna at Albies

So, here is the deal in black and white. There are tearpads out for 1.50/3 pouches of Starkist tuna, they've been out for some time but reports are they are still out in the Tacoma Area Stores. These small tuna pouches are on sale for 1.25 this week and are part of a buy 10 items. get $5 off promo. Also, currently running is a catalina deal for $1 off your next order wyb 5. To capitalize on all these deals you must buy in multiples of 3,5,and 10 so 30 is the least you can buy if these are the only promo items you are buying. Here is the Math:
30 @ 1.25 = 37.50 less 5/10 *3 = 15.00 & 1.50/3 *10= 15.00 is a OOP of $7.50 and get 6 * $1 OYNO coupons. Actual cost is $1.50 for 30 pouches or .05 each!

When we bought these, the cat machine printed out a 1.00/3 q first so I used two of these instead of two of the 1.50/3 qs and doubled them to $2.00 so the final OOP for the 2nd run of 30 was only .50!! So,yesterday we bought: 60 pouches of tuna, and 1 bottle of apple juice (no coupon or deal, gasp!) for 1.39 and a few pieces of paper! I started the day with a $4 OYNO and ended with a $1 OYNO. I love it!
If you want to get in on this let me know I may be able to get some qs for you. This goes through Tues. and usually you can special order them from your store so to be sure they have them.

Romor has it that there are .50/1 peelies on the Taco Bell shells ( .99) and these are also part of the 5/10 promo so free wyb 10. I am headed to the store today to check on that and will confirm or deny later.
Blessings
~Brenda

Albies deal of the week

Albies is advertising a ConAgra buy $25 get $10 OYNO deal, not a lot that I am interested in except that I am out of ketchup and have been looking for free ketchup for a while now. We've been substituting free bbq sauce for sometime. Anyway, no, I am not going to buy $25 worth of ketchup but I am working on a large deal with orville redenbacher popcorn and a bit of ketchup thrown in. Albies also has a deal on Ball Park franks, Hillshire Farms, and Sara Lee buy 5 items get $5 instantly. And HF links free wyb coke products, there are tearpad q's out for free pop (any kind , any size) wyb 2 OR popcorn so, I will get some of that too.
Also, I ordered q's off ebay yesterday for $1/1 eskimo pie treats. These are 2/$5 and get $4 OYNO when you buy any 4. Rumor has it doublers will be out again this weekend so here is how I will get those for free: 4 @2.5 = $10 - 4 q's -3 dbls= $3 OOP and get back $4 OYNO. These will roll so as long as I throw in a $1 filler, say 1 dzn eggs on sale for .99 it will be just fine to pay with this cat, rinse and repeat!
Some other ideas for using doublers this week:
$1 ea. Darigold flavored milk 12oz (I think) q is $1/2 so dbld, = 2 free.
No nonsense trouser socks 1.99 $1off q dbld = free
Kellogg's cereal @1.99 wyb 3 $1 q dbld = free for 3 (also if you still have free egg tearpad wyb 2 kelloggs throw in 2 dzn with this deal as the q is good to $2)
Sweet Baby Ray's bbq sauce is 2.19 $1/1 q dbld = .19ea

Hope you all have a good week, I will publish my list and totals after I get home on Monday.

Free KFC & Arby's Fruit Tea

Today only, you can print a coupon (or 10)at http://unthinkkfc.com/ for a free 2 piece grilled chicken meal at KFC. The coupon is good until 5/19 with the exception of Mom's Day (5/10), I guess on that day you have to cook for yourself. One coupon per person. Also, thanks to Heather and Sarah Holston for alerting me to the fact that Arby's is giving away free tea today. I called my local store and confirmed it is available all day today, you just need to ask, no coupon req'd. So, enjoy lunch or dinner on somebody else for a change.
The KFC web site does list wheat as an ingredient so, sorry to you gluten intollerant folks. But the tea might still work for you. :)
Okay, I just tried again to print the KFC q and it is a Bricks coupon now so you may only get to print 2 per computer. It has been a pdf file (multiple prints) off and on today so try back every now and then if you need more than 2. Or call your friends and have them print some for you.

Tuesday, May 5, 2009

Well today is the last day of the Safeway Living Well campaign. I have had such fun with this one, it is hard to believe, but I am sure there will be another like it along in a few weeks. I still have a few more runs to do but I have so much in my cupboards, freezers, and garage, I surely will not get thru it all any time soon. The kids would like to see some more Capri Sun and they are good cheap fillers so I will use up those q's. I think I will pick up some more diapers, since they are so cheap. The chinet lunch plates are a Money Maker so I will get a few more stacks of those, I still have a few more Electrasol q's so will throw in a couple of those. I just have to laugh at the irony of getting all this dishwasher detergent and free paper plates. I love it. If any of you got anything, I would love to hear about it. Have a great day! Blessings, ~Brenda

electrasol dishwashing tabs

Great deal at Safeway for electrasol dishwashing tabs. There are 2.50 off coupons out and these are included in the $10 back on $30 Living Well products at Safeway. Makes the cost 16 cents per 20ct. pack. This sale at Safeway is good until May 5th and is good for the powerball tabs and the gel pacs. I bought coupons on ebay for about .30 ea. With the price of the coupon included this works out to 2.30 per 100 tabs, well below Costco's sale price of around $8.00 per 100. Let me know if you want some q's, I ordered enough to share but will buy them all if no one else wants them. Have a great day!!

Costco price

Costco Huggies size 3 are 17 cents per after $4.50 current coupon and the size 4 are 19 cents per. Add 2 cents per if you don't have the coupon. I got some more Costco prices and will publish them soon so you (I) can compare other things as well. Have a great day!

Huggies update

Okay, so the price on costco.com includes shipping and handling. I am confident the Safeway price still beats Costco, but in the interest of accuracy, I will be stopping by the warehouse today to find the price at the store. Stay tuned......B

Good Deal Alert (GDA)

Huggies diapers large box are on sale at Safeway for 29.99 and are participating in Living Well, Feeling Great Promo (LWFG). Buy these and one small participating item as a filler (Mac-n-chz .59), use a $1.50 off coupon and it works out to about 13 cents per diaper for the size 3 and 14.5 cents per diaper for size 4. [According to their web site, Costco is about 20 per diaper for size 3 and 23 cents for size 4 after their current coupon. And of course you must buy the wipes also to use their coupon.]
Here is the math 29.99 +.59= 30.58 -1.50=29.08- 10.00 LWFG =19.08/144 = 0.13
Without the coupon below the cost raises by 1 cent per diaper, still a great deal IMHO.
This deal should be working until 5/05/09.

Here is the web site for the 1.50 coupon, you should be able to print two with each computer you have.
http://print.coupons.com/couponweb/Offers.aspx?pid=13306&zid=iq37&nid=10&bid=alk0420150429klqqn95321013

Deal of the Week

Good Afternoon,

Here is the deal I am doing this week. Ball Park franks are B1G1 at Safeway until Wednesday some of the varieties are participating in the Living Well $10 back when you spend $30. Some of the angus varieties have blue $1off peelies. It is a little tricky but I bought 12 packages of all angus beef franks for about $1. Here is the deal, you must buy 6 packages of the Angus Beef Franks Original (ABFO) and then 6 packages that have peelies on them. Also, you must buy one other participating item, I bought kraft mac n cheese @ .59 this is just a filler item to get you over the $30 mark. Then I scanned the packages alternating with ABFO first then the other variety one by one until all were scanned. I did it this way because every other variety comes up as 0 and only the ABFO count toward the Living Well deal. So here is the math $4.99 * 12=59.88 + .59 = 60.47 - 29.96 (B1G1) - $6 peelies = 24.51 - $10 Living Well On your next order coupon = 14.51 for 12 packages of Angus Beef Franks that's about $1.20 per package! I went to uscan and used the $1/2 catalina coupon (cat) that printed when I scanned my first package. We also used some other coupons that we had and some OYNO cats from previous purchases so our total came to 53 cents! The checker couldn't believe it! Jerry said, "Well, I guess we've got to pay for something!" Then when it printed the next $10 OYNO cat the checker just shook his head....

These are good hot dogs, they freeze well and are gluten free according to Celiac.com, (they do contain corn and MSG for those who need to avoid such things).

The UPC for the ABFO is 5450010137 make sure to take this number with you to compare and get the correct packages.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Hope this helps someone,
Blessings,
